Cardiff City midfielder Craig Bryson believes there is no reason why the Bluebirds cannot beat Leeds United this evening, as long as they match the Whites.

Neil Warnock's men welcome Leeds, the Championship league leaders, to the Cardiff City Stadium and will be looking to inflict what would be a second consecutive away defeat on the Whites.

Apart from losing at Millwall, Leeds have been in fine form on the road, picking up nine points from four away league games, but Bryson thinks Cardiff are capable of beating the visitors.

The midfielder rates Leeds and is expecting a tough game, however he is optimistic about the Bluebirds' chances if they match the Whites, while he also talked up the home advantage factor, which he expects to boost his side.

"I think it’ll be a great game between two teams that are flying high in the league early in the season", Bryson was quoted as saying by his club's official site.

"We know what Leeds are all about; they’re a hard team.

"They’re physical, they get in your face and they’ve got a lot of quality so I think if we can match that then there’s no reason why we can’t go on and get the win.

"I’ve known as an opposition player with Derby going to Cardiff – it was never nice and Cardiff always up their game at home.

"The fans get right behind the team and it’ll be no different on Tuesday night under the lights at CCS.

"It’s on the TV as well so I think it’ll be a great occasion and hopefully we can come out with the right result", he added.

Leeds have won their last two visits to Cardiff, winning 2-0 on each occasion.
