The Blues were impressive at the Wanda Metropolitano as they inflicted a Champions League group stage loss on Diego Simeone's men, enjoying much the better of the game.

Chelsea legend Nevin feels that the Blues were good value for the win and the Scot admits he was disappointed with Griezmann, who was linked with a big money move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

"We were talking about Griezmann and I have to say I was really disappointed with him", Nevin said on Chelsea TV.

And Nevin's words were echoed by another former Chelsea player in the shape of Frank Sinclair, who dubbed Griezmann "really poor".

Griezmann completed all 90 minutes at the Wanda Metropolitano, picking up a yellow card in the process on what was a frustrating night for Atletico Madrid.
