Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has played down the prospect of winger Christian Pulisic moving on, despite interest from a host of Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid.

Arsene Wenger's men are the latest club to be linked with holding an interest in Pulisic, who is continuing to boost his stock at Dortmund.

Pulisic is under contract with the Ruhr giants until the summer of 2020 and Zorc insists Dortmund are building their side around the young wide-man.

Zorc was quoted as saying by Sport Bild: "Christian already has an important place within the team and, like Julian Weigl, can become a cornerstone of our sporting future."

It is claimed Dortmund would only consider selling Pulisic if bids began to reach the level Barcelona paid to sign Ousmane Dembele in the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old cost Barcelona an initial €105m to sign from Dortmund, with the Catalans offering a level of money the Bundesliga side could not refuse.

Pulisic, just 19 years old, has made nine appearances in all competitions for Dortmund in the current campaign, chipping in with three goals and also providing a single assist for his team-mates.
