Pedro Caixinha says the Rangers fans stand squarely behind his team and understand that the Gers will give all they have to bring success to the club.

The Portuguese eased the pressure on his shoulders on Friday night by leading Rangers to a comfortable 4-1 win away at Hamilton to collect three Scottish Premiership points.

Rangers are up to third in the league standings and Caixinha says the group are united; it has been speculated all is not well behind the scenes at Ibrox, especially with Caixinha now demoting veteran striker Kenny Miller to the Under-20s.

Caixinha also believes that he still has the Rangers fans fully on board with his project.

The Portuguese said on BT Sport: "I think the supporters know what we are building.

"I think the supporters are backing us.

"They know that we are going to give our lives for this club.

"And we will keep moving forward until we have what they want.

"That's what they know and that's what we will keep doing", Caixinha added.

Rangers have now cut the gap with league leaders Celtic to five points, but the Bhoys can restore their eight-point lead by beating Neil Lennon's Hibernian on Saturday.

Caixinha's men are now not next in action until after the international break when they travel to St Johnstone on Friday 13th October.
