Former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel is Bayern Munich’s first choice to take over from Carlo Ancelotti at the Allianz Arena, it has been claimed.

The German champions sacked Ancelotti on Thuesday following a humiliating 3-0 loss at Paris Saint-German amidst noise of dressing room unrest and the gradual decline in his relationship with the players.

Ancelotti won the Bundesliga in his first season at Bayern Munich but a mixed start to the campaign coupled with the defeat in Paris meant his position at the club became untenable.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and German coaching’s rising star Julian Nagelsmann have been linked with the job, but according to Sport Bild, Bayern Munich are clear about the man they want.

It has been claimed that former Dortmund boss Tuchel is their top target and they are looking to hold talks with him soon in order to move forward with their plan to get a head coach on board soon.
