Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham admits that he is looking forward to testing himself against Benfica in a friendly next week.

The Glasgow giants returned to winning ways on Friday night with a 4-1 win at Hamilton after a run of difficult games, which involved a 2-0 defeat to Celtic at home last weekend.

With the international break next week, most of the Rangers squad will be staying put as only a few will be leaving to play for their national teams and the club have arranged a big ticket friendly against Benfica to keep the players in shape.

Pedro Caixinha will be taking his squad to Canada next week to prepare for the game that will take place in Ontario next Friday and Foderingham is looking forward to the experience.

The Rangers goalkeeper believes the Portuguese champions will provide a stiff examination of the Gers squad as they look to test themselves against a team of Benfica’s calibre.
