Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is not losing sleep over Manchester City and Manchester United making a fast start to the Premier League campaign and insists much football is still to be played.

Wenger's men have not lost since a 4-0 drubbing at Liverpool at the end of August and beat Brighton 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon to continue their good run.

But Arsenal's good form has not made a dent on Manchester City and Manchester United, who are at the top of the table with 19 points each; Arsenal have 13 points from seven games.

Wenger is not yet willing to worry about the pair pulling too far ahead though.

He said in his post-Brighton press conference: "It’s too early. It’s very early, seven games played and 31 to go.

"Last year after six games Man City was top with 18 points, so let’s not go to pick conclusions.

"They played outstanding yesterday, but there’s a long way to go", Wenger added.

Manchester United thrashed Crystal Palace 4-0 on Saturday, while Manchester City visited champions Chelsea and came away with an impressive 1-0 win as they were comfortably better than the Blues.

Arsenal travel to Manchester City on 5th November.
