AC Milan have continued to maintain contact with Arsenal and Everton linked midfielder Jakub Jankto despite not making any formal offer for the Udinese man.

The 21-year-old Czech midfielder has been catching the eye of observers with his performances in Serie A and his future at Udinese did come under the scanner in the summer.

A self confessed Arsenal fan, the Gunners have been keeping an eye on Jankto and he was also linked with a move to Everton, but his agent insisted that he needs to spend the season in Italy with Udinese.

Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus are also interested in the young midfielder and according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri have continued to keep the communication channels open with Jankto’s representatives.

They are yet to make a formal offer for the player and it is unclear whether they are plotting a January swoop, but AC Milan are keeping a close eye on his performances at Udinese.

However, they will face stiff competition for Jankto’s signature from the Premier League and Udinese are aware of all the interest the young midfielder has been generating.

The Serie A outfit feel they could easily command a fee of around €20m or more for the Czech international if and when they decide to sell him in the future.
