Celtic technical assistant Kolo Toure has taken a spot on the coaching staff with the Ivory Coast.

Toure, who turned out as a player for Celtic last season and hung up his boots in the summer, recently joined Brendan Rodgers' coaching staff at the Scottish champions.

The former Arsenal defender is now taking on another coaching assignment by taking a role as an assistant coach to Ivory Coast boss Marc Wilmots.

Toure will combine the international role with his job at Celtic.

The 36-year-old is due to be in the dugout on Friday when Wilmots' side lock horns with Mali.
