Juventus have made snapping up Schalke's Leon Goretzka and Liverpool's Emre Can their transfer priorities moving forward.

The Bianconeri made moves to sign Can from Liverpool in the summer and despite the midfielder now being into the final 12 months of his contract at Anfield, the Reds refused to play ball.

Goretzka, who has himself been repeatedly linked with Liverpool, is another player now into the last year of his contract.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport, Juventus are now determined to land both Germany internationals and have made the pair priority transfer targets.

The Italian giants are not likely to find doing deals for the duo to be smooth sailing however.

Liverpool midfielder Can is also on the radar of both Manchester United and Chelsea, while the Reds have not yet given up hope of convincing him to put pen to paper on a fresh contract at Anfield.

There is also interest in Goretzka from other clubs.

Liverpool have continued to be linked with the Schalke man, while Chelsea, Manchester City and, present favourites to land his signature Bayern Munich, are keen.

But if Juventus could sign both Can and Goretzka it would be a double blow for Liverpool, snapping up a key performer for the Reds and one of their transfer targets at the same time.
