Dele Alli has congratulated his Tottenham Hotspur team-mate Harry Winks on making his senior international debut for England on Sunday night.

Winks, who has clocked up 301 minutes over seven appearances in all competitions for Spurs in the present campaign, started for England in their 1-0 win over Lithuania in a World Cup qualifier.




Fellow Spurs players Alli, Kieran Trippier and Harry Kane, who scored the only goal of the game from the spot in the 27th minute, also featured in the contest.

And Alli congratulated Winks after the youngster made his senior debut for England by posting a picture of themselves in an aeroplane.
 


The photograph was taken during their playing days for the country’s youth teams and it also had a message which read: “Congrats on the debut Harry Winks.”

Both Alli and Winks have represented England from Under-17 to Under-21 level before turning out for the senior team.

Alli, who has scored three goals in eight appearances in all competitions for Tottenham this season, has 22 caps and two goals for England to his name.
