French giants Marseille have been keeping a keen eye on Arsenal loanee Lucas Perez and his performances at Deportivo La Coruna with an eye on a future move for the striker.

Perez’s future at Arsenal eventually got sorted out towards the end of the summer transfer window after he joined his former club Deportivo on a season-long loan deal.

The striker has expressed his delight at returning to Spain and Deportivo and scored his first goal this season just before the international break in their 2-1 win over Getafe.

And according to French magazine Le 10 Sport, his performances are being closely tracked by Marseille who are keen to sign him following his loan spell in Spain at the end of the season.

Marseille sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta is a fan of the Arsenal loanee and is interested in exploring the option of signing him next summer when Perez’s future is again expected to be a hot topic.
