Mauricio Pochettino has hit back at Pep Guardiola after the Manchester City manager suggested Tottenham Hotspur are dependent upon Harry Kane.

Kane has been in superb goalscoring form for Tottenham in recent weeks and Guardiola has indicated that Spurs are something of a one-man team.

Pochettino finds the Citizens manager's comments disrespectful to his men and says that he never claimed Guardiola's Barcelona outfit were a one-man team with Lionel Messi, when in their pomp.

As such, the Argentine tactician finds Guardiola's comments hard to stomach.

"It's difficult to understand because he was part of the big success in Barcelona when it was Messi at his best", Pochettino said at a press conference.
