Henry Onyekuru is keen to end his loan deal at Anderlecht early and move to Everton in the January transfer window.

Everton signed the Nigerian forward from Eupen in the summer amidst intense competition from other clubs and immediately loaned him out to Anderlecht for the season.




The 20-year-old has been in good form for Anderlecht this season and has netted seven goals in 13 appearances for the club in all competitions.

He is scheduled to continue at Anderlecht until the end of the current campaign, but Onyekuru admits that he is expecting some movement with regards to Everton in January.
 


The Nigerian admits that he would like to end his spell at Anderlecht early and join the Premier League side during the winter transfer window.

Onyekuru was quoted as saying by Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws: “Everton are happy about my development.

“I’m expecting something.

"I’m hoping to go to Everton in January.”

It is unclear whether Everton are considering taking him back prematurely in January and there is also uncertainly over Onyekuru getting a work permit to play in England at the moment.
