Christian Eriksen has joked he has two goals up his sleeve for Tottenham Hotspur against Real Madrid.

The Danish midfielder scored Spurs' goal in a 1-0 win over Bournemouth at Wembley on Saturday and Mauricio Pochettino's men now go marching on to an away Champions League group stage game at Real Madrid on Tuesday night.

The goal came via Eriksen's left foot, as he guided it into the bottom corner of the net after it fell kindly for him just inside the box.

Eriksen was asked after the match by Spurs TV about scoring with his left foot, a collector's item, and is aiming to repeat the feat against Real Madrid.

He was asked if he has a left-footed goal in store in the Bernabeu and, smiling, replied: "And right."

Eriksen also thinks there was much to be said for his goal, with the ball guided, rather than blasted, into the back of the net.

"It was a nice goal. It wasn't a hard shot goal.

"The one I shot hard the 'keeper saved very well, so maybe I should shoot less hard and more precise and the ball goes in", he added.

While Spurs beat Bournemouth on Saturday, Real Madrid beat Getafe 2-1 in La Liga on the same day.
