Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reported "absolutely good news" regarding injured midfielder Adam Lallana, who could return to action next month.

Lallana has been missing so far this season due to a thigh injury and Liverpool recently sent the England international to Qatar in a bid to progress his rehabilitation.

He was back at Liverpool's Melwood training ground today to take the next steps in his bid to recover and Klopp is delighted with the progress Lallana is making.

As such, Klopp feels that Lallana could well come back after the November international break in what would be a big boost for the Reds.

He told Liverpool's official site: "It’s absolutely good news.

"I cannot say now, but maybe after the next international break he could be back.

"It would be fantastic for us, of course.

"Everybody knows what kind of a quality player he is, so it would be fantastic."

Liverpool are currently on a run of poor results which has seen the Reds win just one of their last eight games in all competitions.

They played out a dire 0-0 draw with rivals Manchester United on Saturday and are in action on Tuesday night in the Champions League, away at Maribor.
