Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho insists that a point away from home against one of the toughest teams in the Red Devils' Champions League group in the form of Benfica would be satisfying, but says his men want all three.

The Red Devils are in Portugal in order to play their third game of the group stage after having won the first two against FC Basel and CSKA Moscow.

Benfica though appear to be tougher opponents, according to the manager, who insists that a point against the Portuguese away from home would be more than satisfactory.

On their aims from the group stage, Mourinho said that Manchester United are looking just to qualify and therefore won't be taking any risks against the Portuguese giants.

"Our goal is to qualify. Currently, our sole objective is to qualify within that context", Mourinho said at his pre-match press conference.

Outside the particular context of the game though, a win would not be a highly unlikely expectation as they look to extend their winning run, Mourinho says.

"I think that one point away against the strongest of the three teams in the group is a positive result, but the match is also possible to be analysed outside that context and to be analysed in the context of a match that we want to try and win."

Mourinho kept his cards close to his chest as far as his starting eleven is concerned as he insists that his players have also been kept in the dark about it.

“No, I will not tell you the team.

"First because the players don’t know yet, and second, with so many injuries, I think that should be something that you can view with almost a guarantee of success, because our options are so few that it is easy for you to guess the eleven.”
