Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri has lavished praise on Manchester City and believes Pep Guardiola’s men can win the Champions League this season.

Manchester City edged out the Serie A leaders in their Champions League group game and scored an important 2-1 win in their quest to reach the next round of the competition.

Guardiola’s men earned special praise for a brilliant first half performance when Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus scored to give the Premier League giants a firm footing in the game.

While in the second half Napoli dominated the Premier League leaders, Sarri believes Manchester City are an extraordinary team who can make a huge mark in Europe this season.

The Italian feels if Guardiola’s men can hold on to their current level of performances, there is no reason why they cannot go all the way in the Champions League.
