Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says that Tottenham Hotspur have a big challenge on their hands in the upcoming years when it comes to trying to keep hold of their top players.

Mauricio Pochettino's men have again impressed this season and scored a notable draw at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid in midweek Champions League action.

While Spurs lost full-back Kyle Walker to Manchester City in the summer, they have kept hold of a clutch of key players, including Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli.

Klopp feels that Tottenham have done a superb job keeping their key men so far, but stressed the big challenge will be repeating the trick in years to come.

"So far, apart from Walker this year, nobody left the club", Klopp told a press conference.

"For these size of players, that's a big, big job that they did.

"It will be a big challenge for them in the next few years because Harry is not only one of the best strikers in Europe, he is one of the best strikers in the world, 100 per cent.

"Dele All as well and Eriksen as well.

"So they are in a really good moment as a club and we are the challengers when we go there", the Liverpool manager added.

Klopp takes his Liverpool side to Wembley on Sunday to lock horns with Tottenham in a Premier League encounter and the German will be hoping for better luck at the ground, having already lost two finals at the national stadium.
