Harry Winks' development at Tottenham Hotspur has not escaped the attention of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who has dubbed the 21-year-old "wonderful". 

The young midfielder is being handed regular minutes by Mauricio Pochettino, who trusts the Spurs youngster to deliver on the pitch.




Winks completed all 90 minutes of Tottenham's 1-1 Champions League draw against Real Madrid in the Bernabeu in midweek, in another sign of Pochettino's faith in him.

The youngster may well be on the Wembley turf on Sunday when Klopp takes his Liverpool side to play Spurs in a Premier League fixture.
 


And the Liverpool manager is a firm fan of the developing Winks.

"They have a wonderful skilled boy with Winks", Klopp said at his pre-match press conference.

"He is obviously on a very good way."

Winks, 21, is a product of Tottenham's youth system and was first included in a Premier League matchday squad for Spurs' 4-0 defeat against Liverpool in 2014.

The midfielder made his senior England debut earlier this year.
