Liverpool are poised to make a move for young Maccabi Petah Tikva midfielder Manor Solomon, who is also a target for Juventus.

The 18-year-old midfielder has been attracting the prying eyes of some of the top names in Europe with his performances for Maccabi Petah Tikva in the Israeli top flight.




While the youngster is yet to make his debut for Israel on the international stage, he recently broke into the senior squad and is considered a bright prospect in his county.

It has been claimed that Juventus have been closely tracking his progress at Maccabi Petah Tikva and are considering making a move for the player in the upcoming months.
 


However, Juventus are facing stiff competition for his signature from Premier League giants Liverpool and it has been suggested that the Reds have already set the wheels in motion on a swoop.

And according to Italian daily Tuttosport, the Merseyside club are poised to make an offer worth €5m for Solomon and try and take him to Anfield as soon as possible.

Liverpool are in the market for top young players and it seems the Reds are keen to get a deal over the line for the Israeli youngster soon in order to beat off competition from Juventus.

Solomon has a contract until 2022 with Maccabi Petah Tikva.
