Watford sporting director Filippo Giraldi is certain that Liverpool linked midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has the tools to succeed in the Premier League.

Lazio fought of interest from clubs such as Liverpool and Juventus in the summer to keep hold of the player and club president Claudio Lotito did admit that he rejected big money offers for the midfielder.

The 22-year-old is also believed to be a target for a number of Premier League clubs, with Manchester United is also said to be tracking his progress at the Stadio Olimpico.

And Giraldi has indicated that the interest from Premier League clubs is natural as Milinkovic-Savic has all the tools to do well in the top tier of English football.

“There is one player in Serie A that I really enjoy [watching]”, the Watford sporting director told Sky Italia.
