Steve Claridge claims he has not seen a worse side than Everton in the Premier League this season and the former striker believes the Toffees should be worried about relegation.

Everton took the lead today against Arsenal at Goodison Park, but were eventually handed a 5-2 spanking by the Gunners.

Ronald Koeman's men have now lost three of their last four games in all competitions and sit inside the relegation zone with eight points from nine games, with a whopping 18 goals conceded.

Some Everton fans are calling for Koeman's head and Claridge agrees the Toffees are in trouble, with the former striker unsure what the Dutch boss was trying to do against Arsenal.

"Out of 10? I would give Everton three. I didn't understand what he was trying to do", Claridge said on BBC Radio 5 live.
