Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers insists that he will not underestimate the strength of Aberdeen as his men head to Pittodrie to face Derek McInnes's side on Wednesday.

The Bhoys will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run and in the process gain an advantage at the top of the table when they face the Dons at their home.

Aberdeen though will have their own form to boast of, with only goal difference separating them and the Scottish champions.

And therefore Rodgers has stated his desire to take a cautious approach as Celtic head into the game.

"We don't underestimate going to Pittodrie", the manager said at a press conference ahead of the match.

"We'll expect exactly the same.
