Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy thinks there is now every chance Tottenham Hotspur will end the season without silverware, following their EFL Cup exit, but insists the Blues have other things to worry about than their rivals.

Spurs raced into a 2-0 lead over West Ham at Wembley in their EFL Cup fourth round encounter, but conceded three times in the second half to go out of the competition 3-2.

While Spurs were losing, Chelsea were booking their fifth round spot by beating Everton 2-1.

On Chelsea TV after the match, delight was taken in Spurs' defeat and Cundy admits that without the EFL Cup to play for, Tottenham are likely to win nothing this season.

But, while praising West Ham, he indicated Chelsea must focus on their own affairs rather than thinking about how Tottenham are doing.

"There's every chance [Spurs now will not win anything]", Cundy said on Chelsea TV.

"But that's not our concern.

"Fair play to West Ham by the way because [manager Slaven] Bilic would have been thinking to himself my job is very much on the line."

Goals from Antonio Rudiger and Willian proved too much for managerless Everton to cope with at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea marched into the next round.

Summer signing Danny Drinkwater made his debut in the victory and the Blues will now await their opponents in the next round.
