Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid are amongst the European giants who are keeping a close watch on FC Basel striker Dimitri Oberlin.

The 20-year-old striker, currently on loan at Basel from Red Bull Salzburg, has been impressing observers with his performances in the Champions League this season.




Scoring three goals in as many matches in Europe’s elite competition, the young striker has popped onto the radar of some of the heavyweight clubs on the continent.

And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, Oberlin is being tracked by Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid as part of their plans for future windows.
 


Oberlin recently revealed that he rejected a chance to move Manchester United a few years ago, but the Red Devils have not taken their eyes off the player in recent seasons.

Real Madrid are also keeping a close watch on the striker, with Juventus also tracking him with a view to signing him next summer as an understudy to Gonzalo Higuain.

The Switzerland Under-21 international has netted six goals in 14 appearances in all competitions for Basel this season.

His contract with parent club Red Bull Salzburg expires at the end of the current campaign.
