Juventus have rejected offers from Manchester United and Arsenal for defender Daniele Rugani and have no intention of selling the player.

The 23-year-old is considered one of the most talented young defenders in Italy and has been on the radar of a big clubs in Europe for several years.




One of the most important players in the Juventus squad, the Italian champions look at him as the future of their defence and he has been a key player for them this season.

However, his status in the Juventus team has not stopped clubs from trying their luck and it has been claimed Arsenal and Manchester United slapped in offers worth €40m for Rugani to test the Bianconeri’s resolve.
 


The Italian champions have stood firm and according to Turin based sports daily Tuttosport, they have knocked back the bids from the Premier League duo and have made it clear Rugani is not available in the market.

Juventus have no intention of letting the one of the most talented young Italian defenders leave and are keen to keep him at the club for the long term.

Napoli have also shown an interest in Rugani, but Juventus are also unlikely to entertain offers from their Serie A rivals.

The defender has a contract until 2021 with Juventus.
