Marseille midfielder Maxime Lopez is unfazed by the prospect of potentially facing Arsenal in the Europa League last 32.

Arsenal capped off their Europa League group stage fixtures with a 6-0 win over BATE Borisov at home on Thursday night and qualified for the next round of the competition as group winners.

Marseille on the other hand earned a 0-0 draw against Red Bull Salzburg and qualified for the last 32 after finishing second in their group, potentially setting up a tough draw going forward.

However, Lopez believes over two legs Marseille can compete with any of the 64 teams left in the competition and his side are not even afraid of facing one of the big boys in Arsenal, or even Borussia Dortmund, who dropped down to the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group.

The midfielder was quoted as saying by France Football: “Over two matches we can compete with anyone.
