Torino president Urbano Cairo has insisted that he is not going to sell Chelsea linked striker Andrea Belotti in the January transfer window.

Belotti’s future at Torino was a subject of intense speculation last summer as a number of clubs, including Chelsea, were interested in snaring him away from the Serie A outfit.

However, Torino’s insistence on not selling him to a club for below his €100m buy-out clause helped them to hold on to the striker as none of his suitors were ready to pay such a fee.

There are suggestions that Chelsea are again interested in the striker in January, but Belotti’s form has nosedived and he recently suffered a knee injury, which is not as serious as anticipated.

Many believe Torino could achieve a higher fee for Belotti if they sell him this month, but the club's president is not keen.

Asked how much Belotti is worth, the Torino president told Italian broadcaster Premium Sport: “I don’t care as I am not going to sell him.

“And there’s always the €100m clause.”

The striker, who has scored four league goals in 15 appearances this season, has a contract until 2021 with Torino.
