Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool linked Max Meyer has emerged as a possible target for Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Meyer, whose current deal with Schalke expires in the summer, has already rejected an offer of a new deal and is yet to commit his future to the club.




Schalke are prepared to offer him fresh terms soon, but Meyer is keen to sign a contract which is worthy of his status as an important member of the club’s starting eleven.

His contract negotiations are being closely followed by clubs in Europe and there is special interest from the Premier League, with Liverpool and Tottenham believed to be keen.
 


And it seems his future at Schalke has also attracted attention from Italy and according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, Inter are keeping tabs on his situation in Gelsenkirchen.

Inter are on the lookout for midfield talent, but most importantly they are eyeing low cost options and Meyer has emerged as an attractive player for the Nerazzurri.

He could be available on a free transfer in the summer and the Serie A giants are keeping their eyes peeled on the contract negotiations between the German and Schalke.
