Theo Walcott’s move to Everton has not been finalised despite the forward undergoing a medical on Merseyside, but an outcome is expected in the next 24 hours.

The 28-year-old forward arrived at Everton’s training facilities earlier today and is currently undergoing a thorough medical ahead of a proposed transfer to Goodison Park from Arsenal.




The transfer fee is believed to around the £20m mark, but according to the BBC, negotiations between the player and the club are yet to be finalised and talks are expected to continue.

Everton will still have to overcome a few hurdles before they can confirm the forward’s signature, but an outcome is expected over the course of the next 24 hours.
 


The Toffees’ medical process is thorough and lengthy, so the club are putting Walcott through his paces as they continue to talk to his representatives over the transfer.

Walcott has not been regular football at Arsenal this season and has been keen to leave in order to boost his chances of making the England World Cup squad in the summer.

Arsene Wenger did said that he wanted to keep the player but the forward is on the verge of joining Everton this month.

Sam Allardyce has been keen to add to his forward line in January and Walcott is expected to be become his second signing this month after Cenk Tosun’s capture from Besiktas.
