Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keeping his cards close to his chest over whether the Blues want Edin Dzeko and Peter Crouch.

The Blues are working hard to bring in another striker and they have been linked with a number of target men, including Roma's Dzeko and Stoke City's Crouch.

Chelsea have also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur's Fernando Llorente, Crystal Palace's Christian Benteke and West Ham United's Andy Carroll.

Conte insists he is not prepared to talk about players currently at other clubs however.

Asked in a press conference about Dzeko, Conte replied: "As you know very well I think it is not right to talk about other teams' players.

"I am not interested in it.

"There is a transfer market in this period and if something happens you will be the first to know the news."

The former Juventus coach was then pressed on Crouch and returned largely the same reply, adding it would be disrespectful to talk about players at other clubs and also for his own players.

"My answer is the same. I am not interested in this conversation because also because it is disrespectful for my players, for the players of the other clubs", Conte added.

While Chelsea are hunting a new striker, Blues hitman Michy Batshuayi, who has struggled to win Conte's confidence, continues to be linked with a move elsewhere.
