Roma are considering signing Chelsea and Arsenal linked winger Yannick Carrasco during the January transfer window.

With the Giallorossi about to lose Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri to Chelsea, the club have shifted their focus towards finding replacements and adding strength to their squad.

Roma are interested in adding to their front line in the winter transfer window and are considering a number of options who can play as wide forwards in the team.

And according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the club have zeroed in on Carrasco, who has lost his place in the Atletico Madrid starting eleven and has only made seven starts this season.

There are suggestions the club could listen to offers for the 24-year-old Belgian this month and have set an asking price of €35m for Carrasco in the current window.

Talks are expected to take place between the two clubs once Roma show concrete interest in Carrasco and they will hoping to reach a compromise with Atletico Madrid.

The winger has also been on the radar of Premier League clubs, with Arsenal and Chelsea believed to be keeping tabs on him, and it remains to be seen if either battle Roma for him.
