Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has given a definitive nod to a move to Juventus in the summer, it has been claimed.

The midfielder has been on Juventus’s radar since last year and the Italian champions have put in a lot of legwork over the past few months to get a deal over the line.

While the midfielder has been expected to join the Bianconeri for some time, in recent weeks there have been suggestions that a definitive agreement was still missing.

And noises have been coming out of the Germany midfielder’s camp suggesting that he could still consider signing a new contract with Liverpool to extend his stay.

However, Jurgen Klopp has indicated that he has lost hope of holding on to Can and according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the midfielder has said yes to a summer move to Juventus.

The two parties have been negotiating personal terms for several months and the midfielder is now free to sign a pre-contract with the Italian champions.

Juventus suggested a few days ago that other clubs are also chasing Can, but it seems the midfielder has made up his mind about moving to Turin in the summer window.
