Manchester City and Manchester United linked Benoit Badiashile is expected to make a decision over his future in the next few days as Monaco look to tie him down to a professional contract.

The 16-year-old centre-back is one of the brightest young talents in Monaco’s academy and is coveted by some of the top European clubs at the moment.

Manchester United made a move for him last year, while Manchester City have been linked, but the defender then decided against leaving Monaco. The Premier League giants are still keeping a close eye on him.

Other heavyweight names such as Juventus and Barcelona have also been keeping tabs on him and the Bundesliga’s RB Leipzig have also shown an interest in the youngster.

Monaco have been in talks with his entourage over the last few weeks and have offered him his first professional contract in order to tie him down at the Stade Louis II.
