Schalke coach Domenico Tedesco is confident that Arsenal and Liverpool target Max Meyer will make the right decision over his future.

The 22-year-old midfielder’s contract expires in the summer and Schalke have made an offer of a new deal to keep him at the Gelsenkirchen club beyond the end of the season.

The midfielder is yet to make a definitive decision over his future despite being linked with a move to several big clubs across Europe, but he is expected to decide his future by the end of March.

Tedesco is not losing sleep over keeping hold of the midfielder and insisted that despite his importance, the player is also aware of the role of the club in his growth.

The Schalke coach is certain that Meyer will take the right call and insisted that that the player is happy at the Arena AufSchalke.
