AC Milan coach Gennaro Gattuso is not reading too much into Arsenal’s defeat to Manchester City in the EFL Cup final and has indicated his side's Europa League clash will be a different affair.

Arsenal produced a meek performance in the EFL Cup final and provided little resistence as Manchester City romped home 3-0 to win Pep Guardiola’s first trophy in England.

Arsene Wenger’s men will again face the Citizens in a league clash on Thursday night before travelling to Brighton on Sunday.

The Gunners will be hopeful of hitting some kind of form in those two games ahead of the first leg of their Europa League clash next week at AC Milan.

However, Gattuso warned against reading too much in Arsenal’s poor performance against Manchester City and conceded that his AC Milan side are not as good as Guardiola's team.
