Arsenal goalkeeping target Bernd Leno has insisted that he is focusing on Bayer Leverkusen’s Champions League aspirations at the moment.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper’s future at Leverkusen has come under the scanner in recent days with suggestions that he could leave the club at the end of the season.

Napoli are interested in taking him to the Stadio San Paolo as Pepe Reina’s long term successor and even Arsenal are keeping tabs on him as doubts grow over Petr Cech’s status as the club’s number one goalkeeper.

Leno admits that would be excited at the prospect of joining a top club outside Germany, but stressed that for the moment he is not interested in considering other options.

The Germany international wants to continue to concentrate on helping Leverkusen finish in the Bundesliga’s top four and earn Champions League qualification.
