Arsenal linked Thomas Tuchel has been handed a two-year contract to take charge of Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Borussia Dortmund coach is hot property and has been linked with Arsenal and Bayern Munich, in addition to the French heavyweights.




Tuchel reportedly impressed PSG club bosses during a recent meeting and now the Ligue 1 side have decided the German is the man to take the club forward.

According to German outlet Sportbuzzer, PSG have handed Tuchel a two-year deal to take over at the Parc des Princes.
 


The agreement also contains an option for a further year, meaning he could be in line for a three-year stay in the French capital.

PSG had also been considering Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique.

The news will be a blow to Arsenal, who had been linked with wanting Tuchel to succeed Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium in the summer.
