Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane believes that nothing is given to any team in the Premier League and Spurs will have to keep winning to achieve their goal.

The Londoners are currently placed fourth in the league table with 67 points, level on with Liverpool, though they have one game in hand.

The aim for the Lilywhites is to finish as second, behind Manchester City, who are close to winning the league and whom they are scheduled to take on next this weekend.

Highlighting the importance of the win against Chelsea on 1st April, on the back of Liverpool's dropping points against rivals Everton last weekend, Kane said that there is still the need for Spurs to keep going to reach the level they want to reach.

“We’ve been in good form and it’s important we stay that way until the end of the season", Kane told his club's official website.

“The win at Chelsea was massive and that gave us a bit of a gap.

"Liverpool dropping points [at Everton on Saturday] helped us a bit as well but it’s up to us to keep going.

“We’ve a tough game against City coming up and we look forward to that and the rest of the matches.

"We have to carry on – nothing’s given to you in the Premier League so we have to keep winning.”

The Lilywhites are currently on a six-game winning run in the league, having last dropped points against Liverpool in February.
