Roma are desperate to avoid another Mohamed Salah situation by selling Liverpool and Real Madrid target Alisson this summer and are determined to keep him in the Italian capital.

The capital club sold Salah to Liverpool last summer for an initial €42m, but the Egyptian is now worth far more following a sensational first season in the Premier League.

Roma feel they sold Salah for less than his true value and could have got more at a later date had they kept hold of him.

As such, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, Roma are keen to make sure they are not stung twice by selling Alisson this summer.

The Brazilian goalkeeper is attracting serious interest with clubs such as Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid all keen.
