Mousa Dembele is set to sit down with Tottenham Hotspur for a key meeting in the summer, with Juventus keeping a close watch on the situation regarding the midfielder.

The Belgium international will enter the final year of his contract after the summer and so far there is no agreement between the player and the club for an extension.

According to Belgian daily Nieuwsblad, Dembele will meet Spurs in the summer, but if an agreement cannot be reached then the north London side are likely to look to sell him rather than risk losing him without a fee in 12 months' time.

Juventus are interested in taking Dembele to Turin and are keeping themselves informed on the situation.

And the Italian champions are tipped to move for Dembele if he cannot agree a new contract with Tottenham.

Dembele is highly regarded by Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, but the club have regularly been linked with players who could eventually succeed the midfielder in a nod to the fact that he will be 31 years old by the time the new Premier League season rolls out.

Tottenham signed Dembele from London rivals Fulham in 2012, with Spurs activating a release clause in his contract by bidding £15m.
