Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has termed Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola the best coach in the world and admits that he loves the kind of football the Spaniard’s teams play.

Klopp has a good record against Guardiola and he extended that record with three wins four games in all competitions this season when his Liverpool side faced Manchester City.

Liverpool comfortably thrashed Manchester City 5-1 in their Champions League quarter-final tie and Klopp feels the Reds should be proud of their achievement as they got past the best coach in the world.

The German remains in awe of Guardiola’s record as a manager over the last decade and admits when he doesn’t have to prepare his team to play against the Spaniard’s, he loves watching his style of football.

“It is outstanding that we have managed to get past Manchester City and the best coach in the world with two wins”, Klopp told German daily Bild.
