Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce believes that Leeds United will be ready for a fight when they take to the pitch at Villa Park on Friday night.

The Villans will continue with their fight to go up to the Premier League when they host the Whites in a Championship match.

Paul Heckingbottom's side are in a difficult situation, having won just one of their last five league games, losing two and drawing one, and will be in desperate need of points to finish the season on a high.

Bruce, the Aston Villa boss, believes that it will be a tough game for his team, not only because of the situation the visitors find themselves in, but also because of the fact that they are playing at night at Villa Park, with the live TV game making the atmosphere more electric.

"Anyone coming to Villa Park for a night game live on television is going to be up for it", Bruce said at a press conference.

"They'll have a big following here and they're a big club with big history and tradition.

"We can expect a tough game."

The manager also took time to insist that the Villa Park atmosphere brings the best out of his team and expressed his hope to see that yet again on Friday.

"A night game at Villa Park always seems to bring out the best in us.

"Touch wood, let's hope it can happen again."
