Former Hibernian forward Tam McManus has blasted Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, dubbing him average and also taking aim at his attitude towards his team-mates, which he feels stinks.

Morelos has struggled to make his mark in big clashes against Rangers' rivals Celtic this season and he again failed on Sunday at Hampden Park as Brendan Rodgers' men crushed the Gers 4-0 and booked a spot in the Scottish Cup final.

Rangers are claimed to have turned down big money bids from China for Morelos in the winter transfer window earlier this year.

McManus is still doubtful as to whether the bids really arrived and says whoever rejected them on behalf of Rangers should be chased out of Ibrox.

He also took aim at Morelos, a striker he does not rate highly.

McManus wrote on Twitter: "I’m not usually right but I am on Morelos.

"If Rangers did indeed knock back 8m for him (doubtful) whoever sanctioned it should be immediately chased from Ibrox.

"Bang average. And a stinking attitude towards his team-mates to boot."

Morelos, who is still just 21 years old, has scored 18 goals in all competitions for Rangers this season, along with providing seven assists for his team-mates.

He is locked down on a contract until the summer of 2021 with the Ibrox giants.
