Nottingham Forest linked goalkeeper Frederik Ronnow is to join Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer transfer window.

Forest tried to sign the shot-stopper from Danish giants Brondby last summer and were claimed to be eyeing him again in January, however no move to the City Ground materialised.

Where the Championship side failed, Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt have succeeded and Ronnow will join from Brondby.

The Bundesliga side agreed terms on a £2.4m deal with Brondby recently, but Ronnow still needed to agree personal terms.

It has now been confirmed the goalkeeper has signed off on a contract offered by Eintracht Frankfurt and will pen a four-year deal.

He will join a side currently sitting in seventh spot in the Bundesliga standings and battling to secure a Europa League place for next season.

Ronnow must first focus on seeing the season out with Brondby though and the club are in a fight for the Danish Superliga title, currently sitting top on goal difference ahead of FC Midtjylland.
