Rangers midfielder Jamie Barjonas has revealed Hibernian defender Efe Ambrose nutmegging him ranks as his most embarrassing moment in the game and made him want to curl up into a ball and cry.

The youngster lined up against Hibernian earlier this season, but his game was spoiled when former Celtic centre-back Ambrose slid the ball through his legs.

Barjonas has no doubt the incident was one of complete embarrassment and admits he wanted to cry.

He told Rangers TV: "When I got nutmegged by Efe Ambrose [was my most embarrassing moment].

"100 per cent! I knew exactly after he did it. I just wanted to roll into a wee ball and cry", he added.

And Barjonas admits that he was guilty of knowing that Ambrose was going to nutmeg him before it happened.

"I saw it coming as well a mile away."

Barjonas, 19, has been handed nine appearances for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership so far this season.

The midfielder, who is highly rated at the club, is under contract at Ibrox until 2020 and will be looking to kick on over the summer to impress what is expected to be a new Rangers management team.
