Leeds United are still hopeful that Pablo Hernandez will stay at the club, despite his family having moved back to Spain.

Hernandez, who is rated by many Leeds fans as the most naturally talented player at the club, is out of contract in the summer.

Leeds have been under pressure to make sure they do not lose the Spaniard and a new two-year deal has been proposed to him.

The Whites are, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, hopeful that Hernandez will choose to put pen to paper to extend his stay at Elland Road.

However, the attacking midfielder's family have moved back to Spain, something which will further fuel speculation that he may follow in their footsteps as he looks to see out his career.
