Former Chelsea and Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri believes Roma can take advantage of Liverpool’s suspect performances away from home.

Roma pulled off a shock win over Barcelona in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and have been drawn to face an in-form Liverpool side in the last four.

The Reds blew away Manchester City over two legs in the quarter-finals and are going into the semi-final clash against Roma as firm favourites to reach the final of the Champions League.

Ranieri has lauded Roma’s win over Barcelona, but admits Liverpool have produced some irresistible performances in the Champions League this season.

But the Italian coach feels Roma could catch Liverpool off guard at the Stadio Olimpico in the second leg as they have not always been stellar away from home.
