The Rangers duo of Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace are unlikely to play for the club again as they face suspensions following a bust-up with Graeme Murty, according to the BBC.

Rangers suffered a chastening day out at Hampden Park on Sunday when they were thrashed 4-0 by Glasgow rivals Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.

Tensions were high as kick-off approached and Miller was left out of the starting eleven.

Miller and club captain Wallace, who has been out injured since September, clashed with manager Murty and it led to an angry bust-up between the three at Hampden Park.

The veteran striker’s contract is up in the summer, but there are suggestions he is set to be sacked by the club with immediate effect, ending his long association with Rangers.

Wallace, 30, remains a highly respected figure inside the Rangers dressing room, but the club captain is also set to face suspension and is unlikely to play for the Gers again.

The Rangers board believe the duo have shown major disrespect towards the manager, Murty, and should be punished accordingly.
